In the Fall of 2002 four couples met weekly for a Crown Financial Bible Study. At its completion, others began to express a desire to join in the continued study of God's Word. It was then that a family, whose home was located on Cass River Drive in Caro, MI, graciously opened their home for the weekly meetings. Attendance quickly grew to nearly 35 (including children) and the name Cass River Bible Study was adopted. Excitement mounted as the Lord began to add a new Church. Confirmation of His leading came with the provision of a church-planting pastor who assisted in laying a foundation and Cass River Bible Church officially began in July 2003. In the early days, services were held in a garage, a finished basement and a community hall.

In the Spring of 2004, Cass River Bible Church was able to purchase a building on Snover Road between Mayville & Vassar, MI where weekly services are now held. Our purpose is to be "Developing Disciples That Develop Disciples", by teaching people how to study and apply the truths of God's Word to everyday living, and then to share that with others in order to cultivate a personal realtionship with Jesus Christ.
